HIGH SCHOOL CAREER FORUM
The High School Career Forum (HSCF) is an opportunity for high school students to learn about different career opportunities available after high school, from a moderated panel. The panel shares why they chose their careers and the education and training that is involved. Past panelists have been College Graduates, Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force), STEM, Entrepreneur, Firefighter, Public Affairs Specialist, Nurse Educator, Office of Talent, Acquisition & Management for FCPS and more. We are excited to add a Trade School representative to our next HSCF, in the fall of 2022.
FINANCIAL LITERACY WORKSHOP
The Financial Literacy Workshop (FLW) is an opportunity for high school students to broaden their knowledge of financial literacy. The FLW covers topics such as
Budget, Savings, Student Loans, Investments, Credit, Taxes and Cryptocurrency. The FLW will assist in helping high school students to make sound financial decisions for their future.
